- Is K-One a local brand?
Yes, K-One Technology Berhad is a Malaysian listed company with MSC Status. However, K-One GPS navigators are made in Korea and the processor is from Samsung.
- How many models are there for the K-One GPS navigators?
There are 3 models; the N870 (4.3"), N810 (3.5") and N770 (7") to suit the different market needs.
- What are the unique features of the K-One GPS navigators? (compared to other GPS navigators in the market)
The smart and high performance antenna which provides good satellite signal reception. The K-One GPS navigators use the SiRF Star III GPS Chipset, currently the most powerful GPS. In addition, our top-selling models are also SIRIM certified.
- For a local brand, the price of the K-One GPS navigator is high compared to other brands.
- We are priced cheaper than similar category of products offered by multinational players in the market.
- There are also quite a number of unknown brands in the market which are sold at cheaper prices but from market reviews, their reliability and support service are less than desired.
- We trust that customers will not make their buying decision based solely on price - map updating service and after-sales service and support are factors that should be taken into consideration. K-One offers such service and we are here to stay.
- Are the K-One GPS navigators using original software?
Yes, all 3 models use the original Window CE software.
- What country/city maps are provided?
K-One GPS navigators are preloaded with maps covering the whole of Malaysia (East & West), Singapore, Thailand and Brunei (navigation software from MapKing). Maps of Eastern and Western Europe are chargeable upon request.
- Are 3D maps available with the K-One GPS navigators?
K-One is currently working with our map supplier to have the 3D maps available to all our customers. It is our commitment to ensure we consistently provide customers with products and services that are most reliable and of the highest quality.
- How frequent is the map updating?
Maps are updated every quarter.
- Where can I buy the K-One GPS navigator?
Through a network of authorized distributors/dealers in the country. The locations of our authorized distributors/dealers outlets are available on our website at www.k-onegps.com and you can also call our toll free line at 1 300 88 1118 to check on the outlets nearest to you.
- Is the toll free line available 24 hours?
Our toll free line is available during office hours from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm from Mondays to Fridays.
- How long is the warranty period?
1 year for the device and 6 months for accessories e.g. battery, car charger, home charger, mount, bracket, SD card reader, remote control and USB cable (type of accessories provided depend on the model purchased).
- What does the warranty cover?
- The warranty for the device covers defects in material and workmanship under normal use for 1 year from the date of purchase with proof of purchase (original receipt). However, the warranty does not cover damages to the LCD screen due to misuse or mishandling.
- The warranty for accessories does not cover damages resulting from the use of power supplies or cables not provided/not officially approved by K-One.
- Where can I send the K-One GPS navigator for repair?
You can send the device back to the authorized distributor/dealer outlet where you purchased it or you can send it back to K-One's Head Office at 66 & 68 Jalan SS22/21, Damansara Jaya, 47400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
- Do I have to pay for the courier charges if I courier the device back to K-One Head Office?
Yes, you have to pay for the courier charges when sending the device to our Head Office for repair. K-One will bear the courier charges when sending the repaired device back to customer/dealer.
- Are the K-One GPS navigators certified by local authorities?
The K-One N870 and N810 GPS navigators are SIRIM certified.
- Who can I call if I have any queries on the K-One GPS navigator?

- How long can a fully charged battery of the device last?
About 3 hours if the device is in use at all times.
- What are the languages available on the device?
There are 7 - 8 languages/dialects available; English, English TTS, Cantonese, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai and Vietnamese.

- What are the retail prices for the K-One GPS navigators?
The recommended retail prices are RM1,299 for N870, RM699 for N810 and RM1,799 for N770.
